Please join us for the play reading at Kontakte-Контакты, starting at 12:30 on July 5th! If you would like to attend, please RSVP at timothy.t.nutter@gmail.com. The reading is free, scripts will be provided, refreshments will be provided, and no acting experience is necessary. These readings are first steps toward producing live theater here in Berlin. If you have an interest in acting, design, or other aspects of production, I'd love to meet you there and we can talk theater.

Timothy Nutter is a theater director and English teacher living in Berlin, Germany.

He currently teaches English conversation classes for Wir.de in at the Bodo-Uhse Bibliothek in Lichtenberg, working with Russian émigrés among others. Previous teaching engagements include at Elkhorn Elementary School in West Sacramento, at West Sacramento Adult School and as a private tutor to students in the U.S.A. and in Russia. Timothy is certified as an ESL instructor by International Tefl and Tesol Training.

From 2014 to 2018, he served as artistic director of the Art Theater of Davis, producing classic works of comedy and drama, often in original translation, including works by Molière, Chekhov, Ibsen, Strindberg, Pinter, Pirandello and Noel Coward at theatres, galleries and a cemetery.

Timothy's dance choreography has been shown in New York at the Neuberger Museum of Art and in San Francisco with Dancer's Group. He taught dance in Davis, California at the Davis Arts Center, SynRG, the Davis Holistic Health Center, Barbara's Dancing Tonight, Winters Shakespeare Workshop and for the DHS Jazz Choir.

A graduate of Antioch College, where he studied political philosophy, Timothy also studied history of philosophy at Villanova University, philosophy of biology at Exeter University and dance at the Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase.
