Timothy Nutter
Timothy Nutter is a freelance director, writer, dance teacher and musician, living in Davis, California. His performance group, the Art Theater of Davis, produces classic works of comedy and drama, often in original translation. Since 2014, ATD has staged works by Molière, Chekhov, Ibsen, Strindberg, Pinter, Pirandello and Noel Coward at theatres, galleries and a cemetery.

Timothy performs his original music in Davis and Sacramento. Recent projects include writing the score for the Davis Shakespeare Festival's 2018 "As You Like It" and a solo guitar performance at Davis Arts Center. Timothy's choreography has been shown in New York at the Neuberger Museum of Art and in San Francisco with Dancer's Group. Locally he has taught at Davis Arts Center, SynRG, the Davis Holistic Health Center, Barbara's Dancing Tonight, Winters Shakespeare Workshop and for the DHS Jazz Choir.

A graduate of Antioch College, where he studied political philosophy, Timothy also studied history of philosophy at Villanova University, philosophy of biology at Exeter University and dance at the Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase.
