Timothy Nutter

Timothy Nutter is a freelance videographer and English teacher living in Berlin, Germany.

Previous teaching engagements include at Elkhorn Elementary School in West Sacramento, at West Sacramento Adult School and as a private tutor to students in the U.S.A. and in Russia. Timothy is certified as an ESL instructor by International Tefl and Tesol Training. 

Recently video projects include URBAN CONFEST 2023 with the Center for Independent Social Research, Opera on Tap Berlin at Prachtwerk, and a speaking event at ExRotaprint with Austauch e. V.

From 2014 to 2018, he served as artistic director of the Art Theater of Davis, producing classic works of comedy and drama, often in original translation, including works by Molière, Chekhov, Ibsen, Strindberg, Pinter, Pirandello and Noel Coward at theatres, galleries and a cemetery. 

Timothy's dance choreography has been shown in New York at the Neuberger Museum of Art and in San Francisco with Dancer's Group. He taught dance in Davis, California at the Davis Arts Center, SynRG, the Davis Holistic Health Center, Barbara's Dancing Tonight, Winters Shakespeare Workshop and for the DHS Jazz Choir. 

Past music projects include writing the score for the Davis Shakespeare Festival's 2018 "As You Like It" and a solo guitar performance at Davis Arts Center. 

A graduate of Antioch College, where he studied political philosophy, Timothy also studied history of philosophy at Villanova University, philosophy of biology at Exeter University and dance at the Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase.
